Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. Since the late 80s she has been working in film and TV. She's received many awards, including the 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett, who was raised in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt following her birth in New York New York, is well-known as an actress. Bassett was able to move with her younger sister to St. Petersburg Florida at five years old so that they could be near their mom as she was divorced from their dad. Bassett chose to become an actor after watching the play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. After graduating from Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned an undergraduate degree of African American Studies, she continued to pursue an MA (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. The couple got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama conferred an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Basssett in the year 1980. The school she attended was the institutions that she attended: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for students in 7th grade, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working as one of the main parts as Ramonda in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
